A Step Toward IEP Quality & Rigor: Using the Rubric to Strengthen PLAAFPs, Goals, and Progress Monitoring

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This session will support special education teams in strengthening the quality and rigor of IEPs for students with significant cognitive disabilities and complex access needs. Participants will learn how to use the IEP Quality & Rigor Rubric to build strong, meaningful, and measurable PLAAFP statements, write clear annual goals and objectives, and create simple but effective progress monitoring methods. Teachers will walk away with a deeper understanding of what high-quality IEP components look like and how to make IEPs more functional, student-centered, and instructionally aligned.
