Rooted in Reading, Growing in Writing: Bluebonnet RLA Across K–5

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Discover how the Texas RLA Bluebonnet curriculum builds strong readers and powerful
writers from kindergarten through fifth grade. In this engaging, hands-on session, educators will explore how
reading instruction naturally fuels writing development across grade levels.
Participants will examine how the Bluebonnet framework intentionally integrates comprehension, vocabulary,
text structures, and knowledge-building to support writing in every genre. From sentence formation in primary
grades to structured literary and informational essays in upper elementary, this workshop highlights clear
vertical alignment and practical classroom strategies.
