RLA Bluebonnet in Action: Strategic Monitoring During Independent Practice

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Strong reading instruction doesn’t stop at modeling—it’s strengthened during independent
practice. This focused professional learning session supports K–5 educators in maximizing the impact of RLA
Bluebonnet lessons through intentional, strategic monitoring while students work independently.
Participants will explore how to move beyond “circulating the room” and instead use purposeful observation,
questioning, and feedback techniques that drive student growth and protect instructional rigor.
