Comprehension in Action: Turning Readers into Thoughtful Text Responders through Writing (Grades: K-2)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

How do we move our youngest readers from decoding words to truly understanding what they read? In this engaging K–2 session, teachers will explore practical strategies that connect reading and writing to strengthen comprehension. Learn how to use purposeful text-based responses and structured talk to help students think deeply about stories and informational texts. Walk away with ready-to-use ideas that turn early readers into thoughtful writers who can respond to and learn from the texts they read. Knowledge from this workshop supports all HQIM curriculums.
