SUPPORTING CTE STUDENTS THROUGH THE LENS OF SPECIAL EDUCATION

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This zoom session is designed to help CTE educators better understand the foundations of Special Education and how it connects to successful participation in CTE programs.

The first half will provide an overview of Special Education basics, including key terms, common acronyms, the CTE Teacher’s role in the ARD committee, and other frequently asked questions.

The second half will focus on identifying and reducing common barriers that can limit student participation in CTE programs. Participants will also learn practical strategies to help all students fully engage in hands-on CTE learning.
