From Red Flags to Hands On Regulation

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This engaging training helps counselors move from recognizing critical warning signs to providing meaningful student support. Participants will review the signs, symptoms, and types of child abuse and gain clarity on reporting responsibilities and processes. An introduction to the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) and SafeCare program will highlight key supports available within the community.
The afternoon session focuses on application, as counselors participate in a “make and take” experience centered on sensory and art integration. These hands-on strategies are designed to help students regulate emotions, communicate needs, and engage more fully in counseling—particularly those who are neurodivergent.
