CODE, ACTION, HISTORY! BUILDING INTERACTIVE HISTORY WITH CODE

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

History isn't a spectator sport—it's an interactive world waiting to be built! Learn how to transform passive social studies lessons into dynamic, student-coded experiences. We’ll cover how to program Scratch choose-your-own-adventure historical quests, turn Spheros into physical game pieces navigating global trade maps, and use micro:bits to create interactive voting tools for high-stakes classroom debates. No prior coding experience required—just bring your passion for social studies!
All the online educational tools we’ll be using are free, and all robots are free to check out from Region 15!

This is a techtastic, hands-on day! Bring your laptop/Chromebook and your charging cable.
