This training provides professionals in education a foundational understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and an overview of evidence-based interventions to help support students with ASD in inclusive and specialized support programing. Participants will first gain an understanding of the history of ASD, current prevalence, and defining characteristics/symptoms of ASD. This will be followed by an introduction to several evidence-based interventions in education aimed guide educational professionals in classroom application.
