"Revving Review for STAAR Success" for Emergent Bilinguals in High School ELA -English 1 and 2 and CARES Updates and NoRed Ink Training for Tested Sec

Complete Attendance

ELA/ RLA sections that teach tested areas will practice learner-centered strategies to review and diagnose student knowledge gaps. Experience and receive comprehensive review materials designed to support EB learners' confidence and improvement and ELA/ RLA sections that teach tested areas will receive CARES updates that target STAAR Redesign, new test items, and new assessed curriculum. The new CARES document incorporates the pace, sequence, resources, and guides to teach with rigor and depth. This session is coupled with NoRedlnk training as it is embedded in the curriculum. NoRedlnk is a supplemental resource that improves writing skills. *Presenter: s3strategies and LISD Teachers and NoRedlnk representatives *Location: Nixon High School - PLC room
