Laredo ISD - Child Abuse, Sexual Abuse, and Other Maltreatment of Children - Abuso de Niños - English & Spanish 2024-2025 - REQUIRED*

In partnership with the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, this course teaches individuals who work with children on a daily basis about the signs and symptoms of child abuse. Professionals will learn facts about child abuse, including the factors that indicate a child is at-risk, how to recognize physical and behavioral signs of the varying forms of child abuse, as well as many other important details for reporting. References to the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center may be noted as "DCAC" in this course.

En asociación con el Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, este curso enseña a las personas que trabajan con niños diariamente sobre los signos y síntomas del abuso infantil. Los profesionales aprenderán datos sobre el abuso infantil, incluidos los factores que indican que un niño está en riesgo, cómo reconocer los signos físicos y de comportamiento de las distintas formas de abuso infantil, así como muchos otros detalles importantes para denunciar.
