HS Math: Leading the Way with Our Best Teaching Practices

In this session, teachers will explore updates to the CARES curriculum, strategies for improving the learning of emerging bilingual students, and updates on creating and embedding instructional technology into lessons. Additionally, Region One will deliver a presentation on enhancing mathematics through research-based strategies for conceptual understanding and procedural fluency in the mathematics classroom. These presentations aim to create a classroom environment that fosters students motivation through curiosity and significant learning so students can apply critical thinking skills and take ownership of their educational through the use of technology. *Technology and GT credit hours will be provided.
