Description

This half-day professional development session is designed to equip 5th grade science teachers with the tools and strategies necessary to launch into a engaging year of science instruction. Participating teachers will explore high-priority TEKS for the first six weeks of instruction while identifying the integration of Scientific and Engineering Practices and Recurring Themes with specific focus on low-performing readiness standards based on STAAR Data.
