CIA - Bilingual Department: Content-Based Language Instruction (CBLI)

Elementary teachers will be provided training on Content-Based Language Instruction (CBLI), an integrated approach that promotes academic language and authentic conversations in the classrooms. Teachers will learn about CBLI's targeted and intentional methods used to meet the affective, linguistic and cognitive needs of emergent bilingual (EB) students through the medium of content in the students' primary language and/or English. (GROUP D)
