Content Based Language Instruction (CBLI) for Secondary ELAR and S. Studies Teachers (Group A)

Secondary ELAR and Social Studies teachers will be provided training on Content-Based Language Instruction (CBLI), an integrated approach that promotes academic language and authentic conversations in the classrooms. Teachers will learn about CBLI's targeted and intentional methods used to meet the affective, linguistic, and cognitive needs of emergent bilingual (EB) students through the medium of content in the student's primary language and/or English. (Group A)
