New English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) Training (DAY 1 of 2)

This training will provide teachers, deans, strategists, coordinators, administrators, and directors an overview of the new Texas English Language Standards (ELPS) that are being implemented for the 2026-2027 school year, shifting from four to five proficiency levels (Pre-Production to Advanced). The training will focus on updated student expectations, language development across all content areas, and new Profciency Level Descriptors (PLDs).
