C.I.A.- Project Based Learning in the Foreign Language Classroom

Participants will explore the fundamentals of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and experience how this instructional approach promotes authentic, engaging, and student-centered learning. The session will focus on the essential elements of high-quality PBL, including developing driving questions, designing meaningful learning experiences, and aligning projects to instructional goals and standards. By the end of the session, teachers will be equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to implement PBL in their classrooms and will design a PBL unit for their upcoming study of Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes*. Teachers will leave inspired and prepared to create engaging learning experiences that foster student inquiry, collaboration, and authentic application of learning.
