New SPED Funding Model and Tiers of Intensity

Special Education teachers will become familiar with the new SPED Funding Model. This training provides special education staff with guidance on using the Texas Education Agency (TEA) funding tool to determine students' tiers of intensity and service groups. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills needed to accurately apply the tool, support consistent decision-making, and ensure appropriate documentation aligned with state and federal requirements.
