Bilingual Dept.- Joy School English Training

This training will introduce 1st grade teachers to Joy School English, an on-line program designed to support Emergent Bilingual (EB) students in developing their English language skills. Participants will learn about the program's purpose, access and navigation, student rostering, and basic implementation expectations. The session will provide teachers with an opportunity to become familiar with the online platform and understand how Joy School English will be used to support EB students as they work toward grade-level English proficiency. Participants will engage in hands-on exploration of the program and leam how to access Joy School English using district devices.
The training will also address key implementation considerations, including student access and rosters, device requirements, and resources available to support teachers as they begin using the program with their students.By the end of the session, teachers will have an understanding of the Joy School English program and the foundational steps needed to begin implementing it with their 1st grade EB students.
