La Joya ISD Staff Police Academy

The La Joya ISD Police Department, the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s HIDTA Task Force, and the U. S. Customs and Border Protection will offer their insight into their role as law enforcement agencies that serve the La Joya ISD and the surrounding communities. This 12 hour course is designed to help educate and inform La Joya ISD staff on the basics of police policy and how it affects the students we serve. During this 12 hour course, La Joya ISD staff will learn about topics law enforcement faces on a daily basis. And they will also go through an active shooter simulating machine and go out to the City of La Joya firing range.
