GT 6 hr. Creativity And Innovation: Encouraging Creativity Using the DOK

Complete Attendance

Can creativity be taught and enhanced? This session will help teachers design a definition of creativity, understand the elements of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration and learn to apply them in the classroom. The SCAMPER technique will be presented and practiced with real world application. The session concludes with teachers understanding the four dimensions of Depth and Knowledge and applying it to the TEKS.
