Gifted and Talented 30 Hour Training: Day 1 (Nature and Needs)

Participants will analyze the historical, legal and conceptual understandings of gifted
education. They will examine the characteristics and behaviors of gifted learners, which are the basis for developing programs that meet their needs. Participants will examine the process of nominating, screening, selecting, and placing students in gifted programs.
