he purpose of this professional development session is to strengthen collaboration between general education and special education teachers through a deep understanding of co-teaching models. By the end of this session, participants will:
-Identify and describe the six models of co-teaching.
-Understand the benefits and challenges of co-teaching in inclusive classrooms.
-Reflect on current practices and identify areas for improvement.
-Develop a collaborative plan to implement one or more co-teaching models with fidelity.
-Build stronger partnerships that support the academic success and inclusion of students with disabilities.
