Workshop Registration Details

By the end of this professional development session, participants will:
1. Strengthen Classroom Management to Maximize MVPA. Implement CATCH-aligned management strategies that increase student activity levels in Soccer, Floor Hockey, and Softball. Use efficient routines, transitions, and equipment organization to keep students engaged and moving
2. Design Inclusive, High-Engagement Lessons Apply inclusive practices that support students of all abilities in skill-based and team-based activities. Modify Soccer, Floor Hockey, and Softball lessons to ensure equitable participation and success for every learner.
3. Apply Skill Progressions for Three Core SportsTeach foundational and advanced skills for Soccer, Floor Hockey, and Softball through structured progressions. Incorporate small-sided games, stations, and MVPA-rich activities aligned to CATCH PE principles.
4. Deliver Lessons That Align to TEKS and District Expectations. Connect unit planning and daily instruction to TEKS, CATCH PE components, and La Joya ISD curriculum expectations. Build lessons that foster student physical literacy, teamwork, and confidence.
5. Develop a Personalized Implementation PlanCreate an action plan for introducing or strengthening Soccer, Floor Hockey, and Softball instruction at their campus.
