Participants Will Learn…By the end of this training, participants will:

1. Master Core Survival & Outdoor Safety TechniquesLearn essential survival strategies used in outdoor environments. Understand risk management and safety protocols for student learning.

2. Navigate Using Orienteering SkillsIdentify and apply map-reading skills, cardinal directions, and compass use.Teach basic and intermediate navigation activities appropriate for student instruction.

3. Prepare for Hiking & Backpacking InstructionLearn proper gear selection, packing methods, trail safety, and conditioning strategies.Implement student-friendly activities that promote outdoor fitness and responsibility.

4. Gain Practical Knowledge in Camping SkillsSet up campsites, shelters, and safety boundaries. Teach fire safety, campsite management, Leave No Trace principles, and group responsibilities.

5. Teach Angler Education (Advanced Casting Skills)Practice spincast, spinning, and fly-casting techniques. Learn instructional progressions and safe equipment management for students.

6. Receive an Introduction to NASP ArcheryUnderstand NASP range safety standards, equipment setup, and basic shooting techniques. Participate in introductory drills (This is NOT NASP certification
