Elementary Math: Student Discourse & Embedded Supports (Schools 1-9)

This session focuses on embedding student supports and strengthening student discourse to enhance understanding during Tier I instruction. Participants will explore how to provide embedded supports to facilitate access to grade-level content for special populations, while also learning to integrate instructional routines that promote meaningful student-to-student talk. Together, these approaches help educators meet the diverse needs of all learners.

K-5 mathematics teachers at JFK, Flores, EB Reyna, Chapa, Escandon, Diaz-Villarreal, Cavazos, Tabasco, and Perez Elementary.
