Workshop Registration Details

This PK4 Estrellita Sonidos Refresher Training provides teachers with hands-on practice in the three core components of the Estrellita framework: Pictures Only, Pictures & Letters, and Letters Only. Participants will engage with the Estrellita Teacher Guides to strengthen instructional routines that build phonological awareness, picture identification, and letter-sound correspondence.
Teachers will explore effective whole group and small group strategies, including chanting, use of realia, and interactive activities that support student engagement. Emphasis will be placed on explicit instruction of letter names and sounds, as well as the progression from picture support to independent sound recognition.
By the end of the session, participants will leave with practical strategies to implement Estrellita with fidelity and support early literacy development.
