PK4 Small Group Language & Literacy and Mathematics Support Session

This 3-hour professional learning session is designed to provide PK4 teachers with additional support in implementing La Joya ISD's new Small Group Language & Literacy and Mathematics Instructional Practice Guides (IPCs). As this is the first year of implementation, teachers will deepen their understanding of the district lesson structure, instructional routines, and expectations for effective small-group instruction. Participants will engage in collaborative discussions, review model lesson components, practice implementing instructional strategies, and explore resources that support student learning, including Demonstration of Learning (DOL), the Student Objective Tracker, and the Small Group Independent Activity Bank.
