Workshop Registration Details

1. Teachers will analyze the State Assessed TEKS, TELPAS Performance Reports, and research the last 3-4 years of state/district data trends.
2. Teachers will participate in an in-depth study of the state standards for each course of study, and evaluate the different ways each strand will
be assessed through STAAR 2.0 to:
- Reformat previous local assessments to include STAAR 2.0 item types
- Adjust curriculum to reflect STAAR 2.0 item types within instructional resources including instructional strategies for covering STAAR 2.0 items
3. Teachers will participate in professional development on differentiated instruction to:
- establish instructional resources based on Performance Level Descriptors
- create a College Prep curriculum
4. Teachers will develop lessons that align to the curriculum model, including blended learning, cultural connections, and cross-curricular TELPAS writing prompts.
5. Teachers will complete the following tasks:
- Open-Ended Response Entry/Exit Ticket Booklet
- Vocabulary Resources (Word Wall, Activities, etc.)
- Anchor Charts
6. Teachers will adjust all their task documents as needed to ensure
they adhere to content curriculum model.
