This professional development day is designed to establish a focused and intentional launch to the spring semester. Staff will begin with a refresher on the campus Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP), reviewing goals, strategies, and current data indicators to assess progress and identify areas requiring adjustment based on Benchmark 1 findings. This reflective process will support informed decision-making and alignment of instructional efforts across the campus. The day will also include a comprehensive review of campus safety protocols. Staff will complete required safety trainings, participate in audits, and engage in guided campus walkthroughs to reinforce daily safety expectations and compliance responsibilities. In the afternoon, EOC teachers will attend PLD District Training aligned to End-of-Course priorities, while non-EOC staff will engage in a Campus Literacy Plan refresher with an emphasis on TELPAS accountability. Throughout the day, attention will be given to effective monitoring of Summit K12 usage and instructional practices that strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing across all content areas.

This campus-based professional development session will focus on deep data analysis aligned to the depth of the standards to ensure student mastery and guide instructional decision-making. Additionally, teams will connect data findings to instructional practices by reviewing the Common Instruction Framework (CIF) and examining CCMR indicators to ensure alignment with college, career, and military readiness expectations. Based on this comprehensive analysis, staff will collaboratively complete an action plan that outlines targeted instructional strategies, interventions, and progress-monitoring steps.
