TEA Required Training: Staff Compliance and Student Safety

Participants at Edith & Ethel Carmen Elementary will review and strengthen their understanding of Texas Education Agency (TEA) state-mandated training topics, including bullying and cyberbullying prevention, responsible social media use, copyright and FERPA compliance, human trafficking awareness, educator professional boundaries, school safety requirements, and student mental health supports. Through this training, participants will build awareness of key practices related to student safety, educator ethics, and legal compliance. By applying this knowledge, staff will be better equipped to support student well-being and contribute to a safe, respectful, and positive school climate.
