Independent Investigation Method (IIM) Elementary Teachers

This session will provide participants a teaching model to guide elementary, middle and high school students through the research process, helping them learn skills that will reward them for life. The Independent Investigation Method (IIM) empowers teachers to combine their required curriculum with vital research skills, choosing from options for integration of state standards, the length of the study and students' grade, skill and learning styles.

Designated Middle and High School GT teachers who have completed the mandatory 30 Hours and the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP). Librarians who have not attended the IIM Training in the past.
