Workshop Registration Details

This presentation will provide definitions of abuse and neglect, discuss uncommon bruises to alert anyone the difference between uncommon bruises (suspect abuse) and common bruises for example falling from a bike, knee scrapes, etc. Audience will obtain the knowledge to how to make a report, the process, gathering all information needed before making the call. Legal definitions of abuse and neglect, meeting the statutory definitions for validations versus not meeting the statutory definitions for ruled out investigations.
