In this session, we explore how data functions like genetic information...guiding instruction, informing decisions, and shaping learning pathways. By aligning TEKS as the “code” for expectations and using PLDs as the “phenotype” that reveals student mastery, we can identify strengths, target misconceptions, and design instruction that supports measurable growth. Together, these elements form the blueprint for cultivating thriving, successful learners in Biology.
