Workshop Registration Details

This campus-based professional development session will focus on deep data analysis aligned to the depth of the standards to ensure student mastery and guide instructional decision-making. Staff will begin with a refresher on the campus Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP), reviewing goals, strategies, and current data indicators to assess progress and identify areas requiring adjustment based on Benchmark 1 findings.

Using a reflective and collaborative process, teachers will analyze multiple data sources, including Student Data Reports, Benchmark 1 growth and performance reports, tutorial reports, performance data descriptors, and item analysis reports. Special emphasis will be placed on literacy development through the analysis of reading, speaking, writing, and listening data, including TELPAS benchmark results. Staff will also examine Short Constructed Response (SCR) and Extended Constructed Response (ECR) student work, applying the SCR rubric to evaluate rigor, alignment, and student understanding of the standards.

Additionally, teams will connect data findings to instructional practices by reviewing the Common Instruction Framework (CIF) and examining CCMR indicators to ensure alignment with college, career, and military readiness expectations. Based on this comprehensive analysis, staff will collaboratively complete an action plan that outlines targeted instructional strategies, interventions, and progress-monitoring steps.

This professional development is designed to strengthen campus-wide alignment, promote informed instructional decisions, and ensure teaching and learning are intentionally focused on the depth of the standards to improve student outcomes.
