Communicable Disease Reporting and Prevention

Participants will learn to identify reportable communicable diseases and understand proper reporting procedures, recognize signs and symptoms in children and when exclusion from care is necessary, and apply effective infection prevention practices such as hand hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection to reduce disease transmission in childcare settings.
