Understanding Behavior: Turning Challenges into Support for Students with Autism and ADHD

This session is designed for Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 educators and focus on understanding student behavior through a developmental lens. Participants will explore how characteristics of autism and ADHD may present in early childhood and learn practical, classroom-based strategies to support the growth, engagement, and regulation of all young learners, including those with disabilities or neurodivergence. Emphasis will be placed on creating supportive environments, teaching replacement behaviors, and using proactive strategies to promote positive outcomes.
