This professional development session is designed to strengthen teachers' understanding and implementation of the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) in daily instruction. Participants will review the ELPS framework, explore strategies for integrating language objectives into content instruction, and examine effective practices for supporting Emergent Bilingual students in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Through collaborative discussions and practical applications, teachers will gain tools and resources to ensure language development is intentionally embedded across all content areas, promoting academic success for all learners.
