Little Kids, Big Behaviors: Practical Strategies for Early Childhood

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This presentation is designed for PK3, PK4, and childcare professionals who support young children with challenging behaviors. Participants will learn how behavior often serves as a form of communication and how factors such as developmental level, communication skills, sensory needs, attention, transitions, and emotional regulation may influence behavior. The session will provide practical, developmentally appropriate strategies to help prevent escalation, respond effectively to challenging behaviors, support regulation, and teach appropriate replacement skills. Participants will leave with simple tools and strategies they can immediately use in early childhood classrooms and childcare settings.

Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 teachers, early childhood educators, and childcare caregivers.
