Independent Investigation Method (IIM)

The Independent Investigation Method (IIM or “Double-I-M”) is a teaching model that guides primary, elementary and secondary students through the research process, helping them learn skills that will reward them for life. IIM empowers teachers to combine their required curriculum with vital research skills, choosing from options for integration of state standards, the length of the study and students’ grade, skills and learning styles.

Teachers of the Gifted who have attended the Region One Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP).
