Mentor Program Allotment (New Mentors only)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Mentoring is a different skill than teaching and is the crucial element in a comprehensive induction program. Participants will engage in an orientation to understand their roles and responsibilities. They will explore the distinctions between mentoring and teaching, learn effective communication strategies, and discuss best practices for supporting new teachers. The session will also include interactive activities, such as role-playing scenarios and group discussions, to build a strong foundation for the mentoring relationship. Additionally, participants will review the goals and expectations of the induction program and set personal objectives for their mentoring journey.
