Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Foundation 1-Day Course (CPI)

Complete Attendance

This 1-day initial/refresher workshop will teach participants to identify the different crisis development stages and appropriate staff responses. Participants will also learn strategies for dealing with an individual in crisis using verbal and physical techniques. This is an initial training for participants who have not been previously certified or previously participated in the enhanced version, or whose certification is expired, and a refresher training for those who need to renew their certification. Participants must attend the six hours to receive full credit and obtain their certification for the 2024-2025 school year.

Training for NEW or Experienced Life Skills Special Education Teachers, Teacher Aides, and One-to-One Aides.
