8th-grade Science District Planning 5SW/DBM2/STAAR

8th-grade science teachers will explore how to align instruction and assessment with the rigor of STAAR by breaking down high-leverage TEKS, identifying gaps in student understanding, and incorporating targeted interventions. Teachers will also analyze district DBM2 data that will drive data-driven lesson planning, scaffolding for struggling learners, and integrating inquiry-based instruction to promote scientific thinking.
Focus Objective: Plan for 5th six weeks topics and STAAR review before testing.
