Library Department Procedures and Expectations (For Elem & Sec. Librarians)

This training session is designed to ensure all library personnel are aligned with district-wide procedures and expectations while also exploring library management options available through Insignia or the Region One Library Services CO-OP. Participants will review daily operational protocols, circulation standards, and professional responsibilities within the Library Department. The session will include a presentation of Insignia’s digital catalog and reporting features along with a review of the services provided by the Region One CO-OP. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining accurate records, supporting campus literacy goals, and promoting equitable access to resources. This session is essential for fostering consistent practices and informed decision-making across all district libraries.
