Mental Health First Aid: Rio Grande City

Youth Mental Health First Aid training supports House Bill 3 and Texas Education Code §22.904 requirements by preparing school personnel to recognize early signs of mental health or substance-use concerns, respond appropriately, and connect students to needed support and resources. The training strengthens early intervention, staff preparedness, student safety, and a supportive school environment while assisting the district in meeting HB 3 mental health training requirements.

Target Audience: Police Department (PD) Personnel, Security Officers, Counselors, Restorative Practices Team Members, Threat Assessment Team Members, and any district or campus personnel who regularly work with or interact directly with students.
