PREVENTION OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Human trafficking victims can be any age, race, gender identity, sex, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, or socioeconomic class. In many cases, victims do not come forward to seek help because of varying vulnerability factors that may include potential language barriers, fear, and distrust of authority, or they do not self-identify as a victims. Traffickers target vulnerabilities and will look to satisfy an individual's needs, whether it’s providing basic needs like food, shelter, or emotional support.
