Working with Adolescent Newcomer ELs

A growing number of English learners are adolescent "Newcomers"--immigrant students who first enroll in U.S. schools at the middle or high school level, often with limited English proficiency and sometimes with limited formal schooling. This workshop will provide tips, strategies, and resources to help meet the linguistic, academic, and affective needs of these students. Cancellation deadline is November 6, 2020.
