Quick Checks - Grades K-12 Online Course

Checking for understanding should be the foundation of teaching. We can teach all day long but the question is "do our students have the knowledge?" Checking for understanding is part of a formative assessment system in which teachers identify learning goals, provide students feedback, and then plan instruction based on students' errors and misconceptions. Join me as we explore how to check for understanding, using a wide range of tools and strategies, on a regular basis.
