Pre-K Guidelines: Emergent Reading Domain

Early literacy experiences influence students' confidence and motivation to become literate. How can we create an association between reading and enjoyment in our students? How do we optimize classroom experiences to develop foundational literacy skills? Completion of this online course allows you to earn up to 3 hours of PD and 3 hours of coaching credit. We begin by exploring the Emergent Reading Guidelines and related best practices. Next, collaborate and support each other to develop high-quality lesson plans. Finally, you will participate in a virtual coaching cycle.
