Sensory Room Rationale and Implementation 2020-2021

Participants will engage in learning about Sensory Processing Disorders and how it affects students' academic performance. Each sensory area, including vestibular and proprioception, will be analyzed for symptoms and interventions. Ideas for equipment use, structured activities, and routines to address student needs, and increased learning opportunities will be explored. Participants will use the TEKS to develop academic sensory activities.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
