SLP Webinar Series: Best Practice for the Use of Informal Assessment Measures for Speech-Language Evaluations in Remote Administration

This workshop will address best practices for administering informal assessment measures of receptive language, expressive language, pragmatic language, and articulation and phonology skills. Other topics include diagnostic decisions when informal measures are not consistent with formal measures, including the use of dynamic assessment techniques. Likewise, practical elements of designing and implementing informal measures and ways to analyze the results gained from informal measures will be discussed. Considerations will include the impact of cultural and linguistic diversity in the testing process, as well as the use of these measures in both face-to-face and remote formats.
Course certificates and certificate links within your staff development records will be available 10 days after the course end date and the posting of credit hours. TSHA
credit will be offered.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email.
